What is R/C Model Warship Combat??
Imagine if you will. You build a Warship from any country from the dates 1900 to 1946. The scale of the model is 1/144. The sides of the model are planked with balsa wood. You then arm the ships with CO2 powered BB and Ball Baring cannons. Then it is off to the water where you actually fight the ships!!! The ships are designed to be shot up and they really sink! But don't worry, remember they are designed to do this. After the ship sinks, a recovery float tied to the ship hits the surface of the water to mark the ships location. You then pull the ship up, drain the water, patch the holes with tape, recharge the CO2 and re-arm the guns. Then go out and do it again!
How big is this hobby?
It is huge!! There are clubs world wide!! Yes! World Wide!! There are two types of clubs. Small Gun Clubs and Big Gun Clubs. Both clubs use the same scale ships 1/144. Small gun clubs only use BB guns on the ship and only arm a few guns based on a ship point system. Don't get me wrong, it's still a lot of fun and the small gun clubs seem to be larger and better organized than the big gun clubs.
The big gun clubs are more accurate regarding armor thickness, weapon size, and speed. Also, most big gun clubs let you fully arm your ships and have a way of doing torpedoes. Both clubs are fun.
How can I check this out???
I have a few club web sites linked on my Links page. Check them out! I have both Big gun, Small gun, and 1/72 clubs listed! Click on Biggunclub.com to go to our club web site. Our club in the bay area is Western Warship Combat Club. We are a big gun club, check it out!
Some of the ships I have in my collection.
I am the captain of:

I also have the RM Capitani Romani in 1/72 scale.
What is up with the 1/72 scale?
There are a few clubs around that do this in 1/72 scale. Most of the ships in this scale are Destroyers and Light Cruisers. One of the largest clubs in this scale is the Queens Own in Seattle WA. Check out there club in the links section.
What about pictures?
I have some pictures of some of my ships. I will also have pictures and info when I start building new ships. Check the link Pictures to see what I have now.
